Side income, marked out first
Job offers that charge you to start
Starter kits, paid training and sign-up fees: why real work does not ask you to pay first.
If an offer asks for money before you have done any work, the money is flowing the wrong way.
Common versions
- A “starter kit” you must buy before receiving tasks.
- Mandatory paid training or certification from the same company.
- An activation, registration or account check fee.
- A minimum product purchase to resell.
Checks before paying anything
- Look up the company’s legal name and registration.
- Ask for a written contract and read all of it.
- Ask who pays you, when, and how.
- Search the company name with words like “complaint” or “scam”.
Pressure to decide today is itself an answer. If you have already paid, keep receipts, call your bank and report it to your local consumer protection agency.
